Our work on KL Wellness City centered around growing their online presence and reaching their target demographic of tenured medical professionals through the implementation and guidance on the use of digital marketing strategies.

Spanning 10.73 hectares and with a gross development fund of nearly RM12 billion, KL Wellness City will be the first world-class medical and wellness township in Southeast Asia with a unique holistic approach to wellness and healthcare.


The solution
Our marketing strategy focused on targeting KL Wellness City’s target demographic, creating pages on social media platforms that had a strong user base with a similar age range to the target demographic. In addition to this, we ran a Facebook Page Likes Campaign, and advised on content planning, scheduling posts, researching content and constructed buyer personas of medical professionals and their family members.
The Result
Our page optimization, content population and social media campaign had an immediate impact. In terms of growth, the number of followers on Facebook increased by 376% and the number of followers on Instagram increased by 273% in the first 3 months. Additionally, the overall engagement rate across both platforms increased tenfold to reach an impressive 10% in that same time period, indicative of organic growth and interest generated by real users. On LinkedIn, the engagement rate was even higher, averaging around 22% per month.
In terms of lead generation, our efforts targeted a niche market of medical professionals, resulting in an average of 40% qualified leads with an average cost per lead of RM158. Our conversion rate was also noteworthy, sitting at around 8.71%, demonstrating the effectiveness of our digital marketing strategies in generating interest online and converting that interest into real leads.
