Norden
Develop a brand proposal for the township including project naming, phase names, tagline and manifesto, logo design, and a visual identity system for marketing collaterals.
The Client
Norden is a township in Kajang previously developed by I&P Menara Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of S P Setia Berhad, one of Malaysia’s leading property developers known for building integrated townships and sustainable communities.
The group has also expanded through affiliated businesses including Setia Precast, an award-winning general building contractor, and Setia-Wood Industries, a preferred supplier of quality wood components across the Asia-Pacific region.

creative concept
The name Norden is derived from Nord, meaning “North” in Norwegian, referencing the project’s location north of Alam Sari while drawing inspiration from Scandinavian landscapes and Norwegian-inspired greenery. The addition of “Terrace” highlights the development’s terrace homes concept, inspired by European cottage designs with modern facilities for comfortable family living.
The two development phases, Aurora and Borealis, are inspired by the natural phenomenon Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), reinforcing the northern narrative while evoking a sense of beauty, wonder, and nature.
PROJECT SHOWCASE
A modern Scandinavian-inspired visual identity was created and applied across the logo and marketing collaterals to communicate a nature-inspired township brand.
