Our approach to redesigning Sunway Belfield’s webpage was compartmentalization, we condensed the content of the original webpage in order to improve user experience. By splitting the previous English and Chinese landing pages into separate sub-pages, we effectively cut the page length in half, allowing for the aforementioned faster loading time while making the webpage more friendly to mobile viewing. Shorter pages, with large interactable icons linked to pages containing related information are more conducive to user retention and allow fast and easy navigation of the website.
